AFFC continues its commitment to the community at the 2012 African Dance Festival this past June at Tallahassee Community College. If you missed the action, the best of Tallahassee and surrounding area minority vendors provided the crowd a colorful array of arts and crafts and an earful of African drums, garbs, scents and food.
This year, AFFC’s own loan client, NATURALLY U HAIR AND BRAID SCHOOL, delighted the crowd with an all natural hair show displaying a variety of natural hairstyles and an array of vibrant African garbs to match.
“We were overly honored to participate in more ways than one,” said Lyn Blaise. “In addition to being a committed and valued loan client, Naturally U has provided my personal hair care for over three years. I wish Mrs. Alexander all the best in her future endeavors, and continued success to all AFFC loan recipients as we continue to support them in their business ventures.”
