The Florida Black Business Investment Board
The Florida Black Business Investment Board (FBBIB), was created by the 1985 Small and Minority Business Act F.S. 288.707 through 288.714 to strengthen the economy of the state by increasing the number of qualified black business enterprises, which in turn will increase competition in the marketplace and improve the welfare of economically depressed neighborhoods; increase opportunities for the employment of blacks, as well as the population in general; provide role models and establish business networks for the benefit of future generations of aspiring entrepreneurs; and take measures to increase access of black businesses to both debt and equity capital.

Florida Black Chamber of Commerce (FBCC), is dedicated to economically empowering and sustaining African American communities through entrepreneurship and capitalistic activity within the State of Florida and via interaction with the National Black Chamber of Commerce, Inc.
